2. ANIMAL FACT SHEETS

Go outside and start studying some local critters or Go Online and Check Out Animals From Around the World on the EarthCam Website! Creating an animal fact sheet can be the perfect way to make the backyard animals or live online videos interactive! And it’s a good way to check that they were taking in the information! With each video there is a new animal as the main subject. The facts can go as simple as “they have feathers” all the way to what they eat or anything they hear during the video! The below sheet can be the perfect way to organize their facts and also gives them a chance to draw the animal for themselves!

3. TRAIN YOUR DOG

Training your furry best friend may not seem like your typical educational tool, however it has been proven to teach discipline within children. Teaching your dog things such as “shake”, “roll over”, and “sit” are simple things, however it will also get your smaller children more comfortable with their furry friend and show them some responsibility!

4. KEEP A SCHEDULE

Keeping a schedule is one of the most important things you can do with your children during a pandemic. Children thrive off of a schedule, (although they may not initially like it). Keeping the same schedule they had during their typical school day will keep them more focused as well as help in the long run of them going back to school.

If you are unsure of the schedule they had, teachers are also still working, and we’re sure they would be more than happy to send over a schedule for you to have!
