Calling all ghosts, ghouls, goblins, princes, and fairies to stop by Scene75 on Thursday October 29th for a night full of treats with no scaries. Scene75’s annual Free Indoor Trick-or-Treat event is back for the 4th year! It is the perfect event for families seeking an alternative to the traditional trick-or-treat, for kids who are looking for an extra night of collecting candy, or for those who want to enjoy more festivities from one of the best holidays of the year. Don’t worry about going door-to-door in the cold, and stay safe and warm at Scene75’s Indoors Trick-or-Treat event.
The Free Indoor Trick-or-Treat event will be hosted at both of Scene75 Entertainment Center locations, (DAYTON = 6196 Poe Ave. Dayton, Ohio 45414….CINCINNATI = 876 State Route 28). The event is from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on Thursday October 29th, 2015. Scene75 staff members will be passing out candy to costumed guests (Ages 0-15) at the indoor attractions with over 10 stops along the way.
There will also be small non-food items available for guests with allergies who would normally be unable to participate in trick-or-treating events.
The trick-or-treat tradition for Scene75 started four years ago on October 30th, 2012. It began when a Facebook fan posted on the Scene75 Dayton Facebook page asking Scene75 to host an indoor event and pass out candy due to the MISERABLE weather forecast for the local trick-or-treats that evening. Scene75 accepted the challenge and put together their first indoor trick or treat event with less than 6 hours of planning and prep time. It was a resounding success! Over 2,000 trick-or-treaters stop by the attractions and Scene75 passed out 850 pounds of candy during the 3-hour event.
Since that first year the Scene75 Indoor Trick-or-Treat event has continued to grow. Now, both locations will be passing out tons of candy, literally thousands of pounds of candy within a couple hours. Adding to the fun this year is a costume contest with three different age groups: 0-3 years (7:00pm), 4-7 years (7:30pm), & 8-12 years (8:00pm). Prizes will be given to the winner of each age group.
Plus, Scene75 Dayton’s laser tag is haunted for the entire month of October. There are creepy props, haunted decorations, and spooky sounds in the arena to add spice things up. For an added scare Scene75 Dayton has live costumed actors roaming the laser tag arena trying to scare players on after 8pm on Friday & Saturday nights during the month of October.
